A Far Cry 6 actor may have discovered a way to boost the game's performance, only by turning off an overlay.

In a post on Reddit, drug user contrabardus aforesaid that while playing on PC, they disabled the overlay for Ubisoft Plug in - the service that ties together Ubisoft's loyalty program and desktop app - in an attempt to remove a notification bug.

The user says they were playing on a PC with some impressive specs, but that they've been playing Far Vociferation 6 "with every graphics setting maxed out."

To switch off Ubisoft Relate on PC, you'll need to open Uplay, open the carte du jour in the top-left quoin of the screen, and head to settings. From in that respect, under the 'general' tab, uncheck the "enable in-game overlay for corroborated games" box seat. If you've currently got Far Vociferation 6 Oregon whatsoever some other Ubisoft game open, you'll need to restart it before any changes take effect.

Information technology's not currently clear whether Ubisoft services are limiting performance along other platforms, but the impact of Ubisoft Join seems to be less keenly felt happening PS5, at least.
